Your "foot-in-the-door" is one tiny little 32x32 pixel icon (or avatar)... your shot at acceptance is limited to this little square area, no words, no explanation, nothing, just an itty bitty 72dpi picture.
In a world filled with many forms of temptation...how much do you rely on the palatability of your visuals to que you to do something you might not have done otherwise...
