Saturday, I worked for a little while on this painting, as I painted her face i began to use my finger tips to move paint around instead of my brushes. It gave the paint a very smooth surface. With no brush strokes to catch light that is coming through the window as you stand to the side of the painting her eyes look closed, but as you begin to walk to the front of her, her eyes open. It is a strange and cool effect.
