Thanks to the hormonal fluctuations...
...associated with "Women of MY age," If you were to plot out my mood-swings in any given week it would look like a Richter Scale reading from The Great 1906 San Francisco Earthquake...or perhaps something drawn with a giant spirograph set. Don't know why I felt compelled to tell you so...but sometimes it is just good to know these things.

Soy milk! Phytoestrogens!
ISOFLAVONES!
You've just given me another website idea. A lot of sites (well ok myspace) let you specify your current mood when you're posting. But I don't know any place that plots these over time. That could be interesting to look at. 'Today probably wouldn't be a good day for witty comment... she's swinging negative again....'.
Hmmm.....
i certainly can relate!!
my poor cat's a saint, she loves me regardless. LOL
Mike, along those lines... DH wrote a stand-alone app that is a kind of a calendar... over a period of a year or so he entered "critical hormonal dates" i.e. "Begin cycle day" and it has averaged out over time so that with fair accuracy the app warns him "x" number of days before anticipated "down time" and when nasty mood swings are most likely to occur.
:)
God bless the kitties, right Shelli?!! My parrots won't even bring themselves to ignore my dark-side...they pick right up on my mood and blow it back at me exponentially.
Hootie, I am seriously considering the Soy stuffffs. If I could find soy products that I actually liked I would be much more likely to follow through with a "regimen."
You don't need a "regimen" you need a nice glass of vino!
No really I'm not here to dish out advice, just HELLO EVERYBODY!
vino does work wonders!
at least temporarily...LOL
From an ol' warhorse ....
1. go get some exercise - ride a bike, go swimming, take a walk, go jog-a-walking - anything to get up off your you-know-what!
2. don't go dancing/drinking/luxuriating with the mood - step outside it and tell it to go to hell and to leave you alone.
