I tried to download this on my antique ISP setup but gave it up.
I'll try again in the middle of the night .....
Mom! I forget that you are running on that "nasty" dialup connection... unless you like mindlessly fun graffiti that becomes animated with musical accompaniment than you shouldn't bother with this download :)
But this reminded me of something that I wanted to tell you about, I talked to the Sprint fellow who Gordy has done some programming work for and he checked that you have 2 Sprint cell towers within a mile and a half of your location. Sprint is in the process of upgrading their network with something called "EVDO" (cellular broadband) that would give you some OUTRAGEOUS upload and download speeds once they finish upgrading the network out there.
If you were to do this, it would mean:
1) Switching cell phone plans to Sprint.
2) Getting internet access through Sprint.
3) Getting yourself a wireless EVDO router (802.11) for the house - The router can communicate with both your wireless devices and has ports for plugging in computer/devices that still need land line.
4) Optionally, you may want to get a wireless card for your 'puter.
Anyway, just so you know that you should be getting another fast internet option out there.
This is interesting - I currently have Nextel. But since Nextel was bought out by Sprint, I have access to which ever company I want when my current contract expires in another 2 weeks.
Blogger has a mobile phone feature that can tie into my possum hollow blog so I'm going to get the kind of camera phone that can do this. I'm also going to invest in Sprint's cellular broadband for my ISP.
I'll have to do some figuring about your #3 and #4 ideas - I'm not sure as to how to use the technology to best advantage.
