"where" is this going?

Well, if "this" is the blog, I don't think it can go anywhere. Unless its manifested itself into our world, which could be horrifying.

If "this" means you by chance. I suggest you grab your man and get your sweet asses here to the Heights for some libation!

THIS is it.

YUCK! Cranberries? You wouldn't really serve those to your child would you? OMG! The HORROR!

HEY! I totally dislike canned cranberry nastiness, BUTT, have you ever had HOMEMADE Brandied Cranberry Sauce? s'good stuff Maynard! Here's a simple recipe for it:

3/4 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon orange juice,
1 teapoon orange zest
2 1/2 cups fresh cranberries
1 tablespoon brandy

Put the water, sugar orange juice and zest in a saucepan and stir in sugar until dissolved, then add the cranberries and bring to the boil.

Cook for 5-10 minutes or until the berries begin to pop.

Remove from heat and stir in the brandy.

Chill until serving time.

Makes about 4 cups, will keep in the fridge for about 3-4 days.

I personally have a huge abhorrence for any can shaped globular mass...Spam sends me into a dirge of inner mayhem, and yes, that shaking, scary, tubular mass that quivers upon the plate that everyone proclaims is cranberries I simply can't relate to. Of course, since moving up to New England, I've realized that cranberries are indeed real, and now I'm sitting here in amazement that my sister knows how to prepare a dish that actually makes them enticing...wtf? Where was I when that lesson was handed out? Was that when I stuck the ice skate in my forehead? Damn...anyway, have a good thanksgiving. Love you.
