I heard rumours that it was raining in TX. Out here on the edge, I'm getting quite sick of the wetness. We're having a drought fercrysakes, level 3 (severe) water restrictions - yet we had about twenty inches (*) of rain last month alone - and this month is supposed to be wetter. Ground saturation, dams breached, flooding, etc. Everywhere you look there's more water.
(*) The rain gauge stopped working at half a meter because it was full.
An hour away crops are dying and they're selling off the livestock because the wells have gone dry.
Whoa Mike! I had not heard about any of that! It sounds terrible :(
on another unrelated note... I can't remember my login for your forum! Those pics you posted from near your house are absolutely stunning!!! I would give up all manner of fast-food places to be surrounded with that :)
