going on day three of a strange flu-like bug. main symptoms are fever and aches, and no energy at all... I have a few lumps in the glands of my neck... my neck, shoulders, and spine are the worst... Monday when it all started I thought perhaps I was suffering from a wine-induced hang-over... but the fever part was a little odd.
I feel a little better today, still have a bit of a fever so best to stay home and not subject anyone to my germs.

But I need to be rescued. I started SL the other day--I am Becke Beck. I am hopeless at it. I'm stuck on welfare island with one Linden and in my underwear (which happened when I tried to change clothes).
Also on a technical note. Does SL have a problem with Vista? I have an awesome new powerful computer with broadband--but several times I crashed.

oh man what an interesting time I had last week...After about 4 days of fever and unbelievable aches, i broke out in a full-body rash...and even though the rash did not itch, visually it was quite disturbing to me.
Friday i went to the Dr. to rule out the possibility of exposing my coworkers to some strange funk.
The doc had no answers... he took three test tubes of blood and told me I would hear back today.
I'm still waiting for the results...
the rash seems to be fading a little. Gordy described my symptoms to a local "old-timer" and they said they think I have measles. I never had them growing up and never had a vaccine so it is a possibility.
Becky I am trying to rescue you! I've sent you IMs and this morning sent you a landmark to my place on Artemisia... I hope to see you soon, although perhaps maybe not ALL of you just at the moment :) I think I can find you something to wear... I have read a few complaints about Vista and SL - I hope you are not having tons of trouble still with that - it is frustrating as heck when you crash all the time.
