Elisabeth, daughter of Gustaf Emil's sister Anna

Today Katarina met with Elisabeth, I was a little disappointed because there was no information going back further into the family tree. However, Katarina did share some wonderful information about Elisabeth:

Elisabeth is a real "rebel" and she has been a high politician in the health care. She is still going strong and her favourite interests is sports (always go on handballmatches).

It seems Elisabeth had heard some wild things about her mother's brother, Gustaf when she was growing up. Katarina relayed the following:
Today I have been at Elisabeth's place and we have talked about the Belin family. She has not much information, but her sister Inga that passed away one year ago had made a list with the information she had about their mother Anna Olivia. Besides Gustaf Emil's name it stood: Emigrated to USA, gymnast in the disiplin stillrings. (Have you ever heard if Gustaf was a gymnast?) Elisabeth also talked about a rumour that her mother had a brother in America who was on the circus.

Elisabeth also let Katarina take a pic of an old photograph of her mother and father. The woman, Anna, is Gustaf's sister.

It's a shame that Elisabeth couldn't come up with more stories about her childhood. But I understand - neither my mother nor father ever talked much about their childhood either. Very frustrating because now, when it's more important to us, they are no longer accessible ....

I noticed that Elisabeth's face has the longer structure as did Mr. Belin and as do your father, Dee-Dee and Cheryl.

I see a resemblence in facial structure too, although not sure if i agree Cheryl has the same length.

What kinda struck me are her eyes... seems Dad (and his Dad), Dee, Cheryl all have the same blue going on. Infact, I think Jamie and Chels got it too... skipped me though with my grey-blue.

I was thinking that her eyes were very similar to Dad's blue too, didn't think to connect them with mine but that's a cool thought. Also, what you refer to as the weightlifters I think are actually gymnasts, but I'm not sure...have to ask Dad.

Anna was pretty, wasn't she? This stuff is really fascinating, I've said it before but it's very gratifying to feel as sense of belonging to folks...always kind of felt like a foundling of sorts

Coffee hasn't done it's magic yet :p

Good morning to you! Coffee here too, not enough yet though...

I originally thought they were wrestlers, i think Dad told me they were weight-lifters. It was kinda funny at the time because I had my painting of them in an exhibition with the title "Swedish Wrestlers"... I had to explain my mistake to the guy who bought it.
