Purple Gate

Over the weekend G decided he would like the gate to be purple... so here it is!

I love the shade of bluish purple that you've chosen - it's like a deep periwinkle.

I have a question about your elderberries - they look an awful like some wild shrubs that grow out here on Possum Hollow. Did you plant them on purpose or did they come in by themselves? Do you use the berries for any of your cooking experiments?

That looks awesome!! I have been wanting to paint my wishing well a Cobalt blue for awhile now but have never quite mustered up the courage in this conservative New England town...I think you've inspired me :)

I like the way the purple provides a vivid focal point amidst all the lush verdant foliage, very nice!

How are you doing bytheway? Did you have a nice weekend? We've got more thunderboomers rolling in now so I gots to get offline.
