Hair cut!

Went out today and got myself a haircut. It's the first time I've had anyone cut my hair since WAY back when I whacked it all off real short.

Oh, my!!!!! Radical move!! I agree with Jamie - the style looks really good on you!!

I tried to imagine what style you would get as I waited for the picture to download and I couldn't - this is a good choice - an elegant simple style for your face and personality, for sure.

But what made you do it?? And did you get a different color also? OMG ... I'm rocked back in my chair ....

Hi Mom :-) Thank you! Color is all mine, brown with grey streaks. I've been wanting to clean it up a little for awhile. Tomorrow I'll be working with the boss doing three back-to-back workshops for our newest and biggest-ever customer, so I thought it was a good time to go ahead and do it.

I'm still adjusting to your new image ...

Good luck with the workshops and the new customer!!!!

Wow!! You look wonderful! I love it, it's so different to see you with short hair!! It looks really sophisticated. Beautiful :)

Thank you Cheryl, Woke up this morning with the first op to see what it looks like sans blow-dry and "volumizer" and well, lets just say "sophisticated" is not what I would describe it as ;-) Can you believe i of all people have to blow-dry and volumize in the morning if I want my hair to look decent??? creepy.

I like too! Wish I had the guts to cut mine off, I hate long hair but love it too and Ray likes it long.

It may be a wee bit more high maintenance then you are used to, but it really looks good. In fact, even though I've been growing my hair out for awhile now, your style is tempting me to cut mine.

How did your workshops go?

Thanks ya'll!

Cheryl I've discovered one thing that is nice about having shorter hair - it doesn't get all tangled up in my necklace on the back of my neck!

DAD, I am getting SO grey! You just wait until the day I call to tell you your a great-grandfather ;-) he hee...

whhhhooooaaaaaa! Are you hinting at a recently developing situation here?

If you are --- and with Jimmie still very much in the picture, that would make 5 generations on this ol' Earth.

Oh heavens no Mom! I was just messing with Dad! *grin* I don't think Chelsea or Jamie plan to have any children in their lifetimes. Both strongly object to the thought. I have adopted their pets as my grandchildren.

How's the weather over there? Are you getting any of those severe storms spinning off Ida? I just scan-read about another disturbance building up just outside the gulf that they don't think will make it to tropical storm strength, but anticipate it may join forces with remnants of Ida to produce some more storms soon.

Pets make excellent children and grandchildren .....

So far, all's well - the sun is shining right now but I expect more drizzles, etc. as the storm center continues eastward.

I saw the projected recurve of Ida to the south and wondered if it could get back out into the Gulf .....
