Perigee Moon Probe!

perigee moon probe!
Originally uploaded by Michael-Ann

Jamie, Shannon, and Lara (Shannon's sis) came to visit Friday and Sat. Being that I am banned from picture-taking when it comes to my feisty daughter I never bothered with my camera until everyone went to bed Friday night.

The temps and weather have been so wonderful the last few days that peeps tend to hang out here in the back yard. I really do love the little out of control sanctuary. I know it is just lens flare, but It seemed the moon reached out a ray to touch us this night.

Before I go out into the garden I had to stop by and check out your shot. Awesome!! Your house looks so warm and welcoming against the cool and austere luminescence of the moon.

When you say peeps, do you mean little peeper frogs? I haven't heard any yet up here, we still are dipping into freezing temps overnight. I do love to listen to them sing their little hearts out!

I wish I was talking about tree froggies... My tinnitus has gotten so bad, AND it is in the same range as the froggies and crickets, that I can no longer hear them at all. Ironically, was one of my favorite "features" of this old house when I moved in here.

"peeps" in this instance, are people. It has been so freaking nice without the mosquitos (yet) and the springtime temps that everyone lingers outside more often than usual.

Oh, that sucks! I have hearing loss due to my need to crank music up so loud I can feel it ~ but fortunately it isn't tinnitus.

I wish we had crickets up here, I love to listen to them. We do have peepers though, once they thaw out, lol.

This morning I heard the geese flying overhead for the first time :)

Ha! Allright I can see I have been sadly remiss in the response department! I am sorry. I guess I just got crazy with facebook and have neglected the blog.

Well, come to think of it, and as you well know, there's really not enough going on in my life right now to put updates in both places...so that's a fairly decent excuse, isn't it? :-)))

OH! Good morning to ya! I love you!

Well, hello dere. Fancy meeting you here :P
Glad you wandered back, and at least knocked a cobweb down or two.

Hmmm, blow off a few cobwebs, sweep off the floor and this here looks like a pretty safe corner of the internet where I can struggle into my ancient leggings and commence to ~

Well, no sign of anyone around here...the perfect place for me to practice yodeling while doing an interpretive dance depicting the decline of amphibians in our modern day world.

Yodeelayheehooooo! (deep crouchy sorrow) Hooodeehoodelaydeohhh! (Writhing in the mud)

Alright, I'm working on the finer points..I'll be back.

Cheryl said...

Hmmmm, that got nothing. Tap, tap, tap...back to the drawing board.

Love you!
