Hallo dere, hope you are having a good weekend :)
It's been a really nice weekend, stayed busy with painting. After G and I looked through a magazine about backyard structures, G decided he really wanted our gate to the zen garden painted purple *grin* I had to pressure wash it, then prime it, and this evening put the first coat of paint on it. It has an old trumpet vine growing on it. I planted it a few years ago and didn't want to remove it so painted around it *argh*
When the orange flowers bloom I figure it will look kinda neat against the bluish-purple.
I hope you had a nice weekend too, sure did enjoy your garden-stroll pics!
All this painting in the heat is catching up to me, I'm pretty beat.
What a great picture!! Houston has so many interesting things going on.
Love the purple gate idea - dodging all those vines is a real task but when the flowers bloom, it's going to be worth all the extra trouble. I can imagine it - you are getting a wonderful swirl of colors going there!
